Char-Lynn / Eaton T Series Motors: Parts Catalog & Rebuild Guide

Char-Lynn / Eaton T Series disc valve motors, product line 158. Parts catalog, service data and seal kits, supplied by RestoPower. The T Series uses a disc valve design built for heavy duty, high torque duty cycles, and is common on wheel drives, augers and conveyor drives. Every T Series part number begins 158, and the last three digits are the design code, which determines the correct seal kit.

Reading a T Series part number

T Series numbers take the form 158-1002-001. The first three digits (158) are the product line. The middle four identify displacement and configuration. The last three are the design or engineering change code. Two T Series motors of different displacement sharing the same design code take the same seal kit, so record all ten digits from the data plate before ordering.

Buna-N or Viton

T Series motors often run in demanding, high temperature applications. Buna-N (nitrile) suits standard petroleum based hydraulic oil. If your machine runs hot, or uses phosphate ester or another aggressive fluid, ask us for a Viton (FKM) build.
