Parker PGP and PGM Gear Pump Parts, Seal Kits and Model Codes
Parts and identification for every Parker external gear pump and motor, PGP and PGM series 05, 315, 330, 350, 365 and 500 through 640. This line came to Parker from Commercial Intertech, which is why a Commercial number and a Parker number can describe the same pump. Not sure which you have? Decode your model code or send us the nameplate.

After the series the code runs as a fixed sequence: unit type, shaft end cover and rotation, mounting flange, port end cover, gear housing, gear width and shaft type. The gear width is the displacement, so a 330 series with gear width 10 is a 1 inch gear at 1.97 cubic inches per revolution.
PGP is a pump and PGM is a motor. They share the same series numbers and much of the same hardware, but a motor is bi-rotational, uses a different gear housing code (EB rather than AB) and normally carries a case drain. Do not fit pump parts to a motor without checking the shaft end cover code.
The 300 and 400 series (315, 330, 350, 365) are heavy duty cast iron, built by the Gear Pump Division in Youngstown, Ohio. The 05, 500, 511, 517, 620 and 640 series are aluminum, built in Chemnitz, Germany. Cast iron units are noticeably heavier and use SAE split flange porting.
It depends on the gear width, and pressure falls as the gear gets wider. On a 330 series, gear widths 05 through 15 are rated 3500 PSI (241 bar), the 17 drops to 3250 PSI (224 bar) and the 20 drops to 3000 PSI (207 bar). A wider gear buys flow, not pressure.
Yes, that is where the line came from. Parker acquired Commercial Intertech, and the PGP and PGM gear products are the continuation of that range. If a Commercial Intertech number returns nothing, search the Parker PGP or PGM equivalent, and vice versa.
Yes. We supply seal kits, gear sets, shafts, bushings, bearings and housings, and we rebuild gear pumps and motors in house. Send the full model code from the nameplate, or photographs of the pump if the plate is unreadable.
