Usually, yes. Most equipment makers use standard Eaton units. A few order proprietary versions with a different seal arrangement. When should I choose Viton?
Viton (FKM) handles higher operating temperatures and many synthetic fluids better than standard Buna-N. It is not rated for phosphate ester fluids such as Skydrol, which need a different seal compound. For standard petroleum hydraulic oil at normal temperatures, the Buna-N kit is the usual choice.
