Vickers PVH98 / PVH106 Variable Piston Pump: Specs, Model Code & Parts

Vickers PVH98 / PVH106 (Eaton / Danfoss) are variable-displacement, pressure-compensated axial-piston pumps. Below are the specs for each frame plus the exact in-stock seal kit and rebuild parts. Single or dual shaft seal?

The Vickers model code tells you: an S in the shaft-seal position means a single (one-way) shaft seal, a D means a double/dual seal. See the full model-code decoder for a worked example. When in doubt, pull the shaft-end cover: one lip seal = single; two seals with a drain between = dual.

Common PVH98 / PVH106 problems — and the parts that fix them

Oil weeping at the shaft: worn shaft seal — replace the shaft seal.
External leaks at the end cap / ports: hardened O-rings & gaskets — install the seal kit (02-102264).
Won’t hold the compensator setting: worn control-piston or compensator seals — seal kit plus inspection.
