Which shaft seal this is. Oilgear service bulletins 947019B and 947022 list L51156-3RP as the EPR shaft seal, item 007 on the PVG-100 / -130 (C-Frame) drawing. Oilgear's 2011 price list describes the same part as a Teflon shaft seal with an EPR O-ring. It is the seal for phosphate ester (Skydrol) service. For mineral oil the bulletins list 51156-5 Viton and 51156-7 Nitrile for the same position.

Will Oilgear L51156-3RP fit my pump?
It is the shaft seal Oilgear lists for the PVG-100 and PVG-130 C-Frame pumps, including the F1U build. Send the full type code and serial number from your nameplate to info@restopower.com and we will confirm fitment.
Is this the seal for Skydrol?
Yes. Oilgear lists it as the EPR option, and Teflon and EPR are both rated excellent on phosphate ester. Viton and Nitrile are not, so do not fit 51156-5 or 51156-7 in a Skydrol system.
